This client is a leading UK manufacturer of portable generator units. They came to us with a series of technical manuals that they required translated into French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. As the manuals contained a lot of similar content they were keen to achieve savings and consistency through the effective use of translation memory software.
Our Approach:
The specialist nature of the engineering vocabulary used meant that we had to carefully select the linguists to work on this project to ensure that they had both the appropriate knowledge of the technical vocabulary required but were also able to meet the clients requirements in terms of text consistency across the manuals.
