The Challenge:
We have a contract in place for face-to-face interpreting for the DWP. This involves supplying interpreters to job centres and social security offices throughout Scotland and elsewhere in the UK. The challenge is in consistently providing interpreters across the full range of languages to a wide geographical spread of locations.
Our Approach:
With clients who have regular work we are able to plan our workload effectively and rely on the strength of our network of interpreters and our ongoing recruitment policies. This allows us to have a reserve of suitable interpreters available to meet client demands and attend interpreter bookings as they arise.
The Result:
The government contract with DWP is ongoing and we continue to receive bookings every day from this client.
