The Challenge:
We were approached by the client, a firm of messengers-at-arms and sheriff officers, who needed the help of language professionals in order to carry out eviction proceedings against Polish tenants in Edinburgh.
Our Approach:
It was apparent that there would need to be two stages to this project. The first stage would be to translate the required paperwork into Polish so these documents could be served on the occupiers of the property. The second part of the project required our interpreter to attend the premises on the day of the eviction so that the sheriff officers could communicate effectively with the occupants of the property.
The Result:
The legal process was carried out in a calm and professional manner and this was aided by the presence of our interpreter and the existence of legal documentation in a language understood by everyone present.
