Dr Ollie Hart,
NHS Sheffield
Client: Mackinlay & Suttie Solicitors
Work Type: Translation
Project Type: Legal
The Challenge:
We have been working with this client for many years as they have both interpreting and translation requirements. The challenge in working with one client for a long time is in developing the relationship with them and responding to changing needs over time.
Our Approach:
We know it is important to keep in touch with clients in order to maintain a good relationship. This is why we actively seek client feedback and undertake annual customer reviews. We are also committed to staying flexible which allows us to adapt to changing circumstances. For this client this has meant always being ready to adapt to new language requirements. In former years, the main languages required by this client tended to be those spoken by asylum seekers coming to Glasgow (e.g. Kurdish, Albanian, Turkish). Today, there are many requests for languages spoken by people from Eastern Europe (e.g. Polish, Czech, Slovak) coming to Scotland to work as economic migrants.
The Result:
We continue to work with this client on a regular basis and are still looking to develop our ongoing relationship and meet their needs for language services of the highest quality.
