Client: Optical Express

Work Type: Website Translation

Project Type: Business and Commerce

The Challenge:
We were asked to translate sections of a new website for this major high street optician into a number of European languages. As we were dealing with text written for their specific overseas markets we were concious of the importance of conveying the exact sentiments intended by the original language. Our role was to ensure that the translated text had the same message, tone and power as the English text, given that the website was a key part of the client’s marketing strategy in Europe.

Our Approach:
We carefully selected translators and proofreaders with backgrounds in writing marketing copy for clients in the opthalmics industry. This ensured an appropriate level of technical knowledge and past experience was utilised to produce high quality translations that matched the tone and content of the original English while being entirely idiomatic and natural for the target readership.

The Result:
The translations were supplied within required deadlines for use on the client’s websites.
