SCDI has used Global Connects translation services for a number of years, particularly for Japanese and Chinese brochures. On every occasion we have found the service to be quick, efficient and, most importantly, the end product has been accurately translated. We are more than happy to use Global Connections for any future translation work.

Printing

We can arrange to have any document translated or typeset by us professionally printed to your specifications and in any quantity.

Some of our clients only require the supply of “print-ready” documents to while others prefer to leave the entire printing process to us. Our flexible approach means we can accommodate whichever approach you prefer.

The cost of printing depends on a number of factors:

  • Quantity – in general the overall cost of printing increases the more copies are printed, but the cost of each copy decreases the more copies are printed.
  • Colours – black and white printing is the cheapest option, two-colour printing (e.g. blue on white) is the next most expensive, and full colour printing is the most expensive option.
  • Quality – there are many different types and weights of paper or card available. Some are more suitable for a project than others and the quality and weight of the paper effects the cost.
  • Finishing – where copies need to be trimmed, folded, or bound, these extra processes increase the costs compared to producing flat, unbound pages on standard paper sizes like A4 or A3.
  • Delivery Charges – printed materials in bulk are heavy and delivery charges can be expensive depending on the location the copies need to be delivered to.

We do not generally undertake printing unless we have carried out the translation and typesetting of the documents beforehand.
