We have an ongoing rolling programme of recruitment designed to make sure we always have a pool of translators and interpreters across all languages to meet the needs of our clients now and in the future.

We are always happy to receive CVs from people who meet our recruitment criteria outlined below although we may not be able to add you to our network if there are already a large number of translators or interpreters in your language(s) or specialisation(s).

Translators

We will only normally look at applicants who meet at least one of the following criteria unless you speak a rare language or have an unusual specialisation, in which case we may relax our criteria:

• A first degree or post-graduate qualification in a language or other relevant subject
• At least two years' professional translation experience
• Membership of a professional body for translators such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, or international equivalents

Interpreters

We will only normally look at applicants who meet at least one of the following criteria unless you speak a rare language or have an unusual specialisation, in which case we may relax our criteria:

• A first degree or post-graduate qualification in a language or other relevant subject
• Diploma in Public Sector Interpreting (DPSI)
• At least one year's professional interpreting experience
• Membership of a professional body for interpreters such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL), the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), the Association of International Conference Interpreters, or international equivalents.
