The Challenge:
The client was organising a business mission to Poland. They needed us to produce a translation of the mission brochure into Polish for this trip. The main challenge in this project lay in the range of different subject matters in the brochure as the various companies on the trade mission were from a very diverse range of trades and businesses, each with their own industry-specific vocabulary. Some of organisations included for example: colleges, wool manufacturers, engineering firms, banks, clothing companies, food and drink companies, tourism organisations.

Our Approach:
We made sure that we selected the best general translator who had had expeerience of translating a wide range of different subjects. We also selected a proofreader with a good general background. During the course of the project we took time to consult with the various companies to clarify any issues that arose regarding vocabulary or specialist terminology used.

The Result:
The translation was extremely well received. The trade mission organisers showed the translation to the British Embassy in Poland and in their opinion it was one of the best Polish translations they had ever seen.
