It is not always practical or economical to proofread every word of a large translation, so a quicker and more competitive alternative is to do a translation audit on a translation.
A translation audit is a special service for clients who wish to have an independent assessment of an existing translation, but who do not require the full text to be proofread and amended.
The audit is conducted using a set process that covers up to 10 randomly-chosen consecutive pages of translated text. The auditor will focus on a number of different criteria that contribute to the overall quality of a translation:
